Boeing Company gives USD8.6B contract for F-15 Israel Program

(MENAFN) The US Department of Defense on Monday awarded Boeing an $8.6 billion contract under the F-15 Israel Program, according to a Pentagon statement.

The contract covers the design, integration, testing, production, and delivery of 25 new F-15IA fighter jets for the Israeli Air Force, with an option to procure an additional 25 aircraft.

Work on the program will be carried out in the US state of Missouri and is scheduled for completion by Dec. 31, 2035, the Pentagon said.

The announcement followed a meeting in Florida between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. During the visit, Netanyahu also held closed-door talks with US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
